A key difference between Mercedes-Benz Service A and Mercedes-Benz Service B is the time intervals. Again, Service A is suggested after 1 year or 10,000 miles, or whichever occurs first. Service B is recommended after 2 years or 20,000 miles, or whichever occurs first. With the actual services being performed, Service A and Service B tasks are pretty similar. However, during Service B, your car gets a brake fluid replacement and a cabin air filter replacement. Certain Mercedes-Benz CLA and GLA AMG® models will also get an engine air filter replacement during Service B.
